SUPERB - Worth every penny  |
Please ignore the people who state that shipment is forever delayed. Yes, I ordered on 10 January and have only just received the DiNovo today, 4th March, despite being told it could turn up towards the end of March. Every supplier of this kit has had problems stocking the item because of its popularity or maybe delay in production of item, so although you could buy from PC World today at £200 I would say it is well worth being patient and waiting for the order from Amazon, they will deliver to you as soon as they have stock.It is a fantastic piece of kit, very easy to set up and build quality superb. The mouse docking station acts as a hub and I connected by Bluetooth phone and earpiece with ease. The software bundled with the DiNovo also comes with a mobile phone suite software, so I can sync my phone with the program and do all the normal stuff such as write text messages, send them, edit my contacts list and sync it back with my phone. The media pad is superb and again great software came with the DiNovo to make full use of the Pad. The software picks up all of your MP3, movie files etc, you can sit back in a comfy chair and remotely scroll through and play albums, movies etc. Well worth paying £170 for this, but no more. I was lucky and picked it up from Amazon for £150 back in January when I ordered it. Another bonus is that it came with Duracell batteries, not the crap that normally comes with electrical items. 100% quality, 100% useful.

This may be a cool piece of kit but if you order from Amazon you will probably never know !! I did so back in early Jan with 1-2wks delivery and having been put off once already, they have just told me it is now "estimated" at late March !!!
Amazingly the web page still (today being 18th Feb 04) shows "usually despatched in 1-2 weeks".
This is a blatant lie since their Customer dis-Services have advised me "Sometimes, unexpected fluctuations in supply can add to our original availability estimate. On this occasion we have found that "Logitech Di Novo Media Desktop" is now back-ordered, and our supplier has not been able to let us know exactly when they expect to have more in stock.
Any ideas how we combat this market spoiling tactic !? I have accused Amazon of it and their Customer Services have not denied they do it !!!
As I say - dont give Amazon the pleasure of frustrating you for ever.

A word of warning! |
I think this product looks great, so i have ordered it.A warning to fellow customeres however, Amazon say 1-2 week delivery but I ordered it on Jan 8th and I have been told today it may not arrive until March 24th - almost 3 months. If that is even true as they have already changed their minds 3 times! Does anyone know if it is avaliable more quickly elsewhere? A good buy, I hope, if you have the patience.
